§300n–5. Funding for general program

(a) Authorization of appropriations For the purpose of carrying out this subchapter, there are authorized to be appropriated $50,000,000 for fiscal year 1991, such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 1992 and 1993, $150,000,000 for fiscal year 1994, such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 1995 through 2003, $225,000,000 for fiscal year 2008, $245,000,000 for fiscal year 2009, $250,000,000 for fiscal year 2010, $255,000,000 for fiscal year 2011, and $275,000,000 for fiscal year 2012. (b) Set-aside for technical assistance and provision of supplies and services Of the amounts appropriated under subsection (a) for a fiscal year, the Secretary shall reserve not more than 20 percent for carrying out section 300n–3 of this title.

Amendments 2007—Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 110–18 struck out "and" after "$150,000,000 for fiscal year 1994," and inserted before period at end ", $225,000,000 for fiscal year 2008, $245,000,000 for fiscal year 2009, $250,000,000 for fiscal year 2010, $255,000,000 for fiscal year 2011, and $275,000,000 for fiscal year 2012". 1998—Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 105–340 substituted "2003" for "1998". 1993—Pub. L. 103–183, §102(b), inserted "for general program" after "Funding" in section catchline. Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 103–183, §103, struck out "and" after "1991," and inserted before period at end ", $150,000,000 for fiscal year 1994, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 1995 through 1998".
